Edward Alexander Curr, born 1892, is the great grandson of Edward Morrison Curr, who arrived in Tasmania in 1820, transferring his interests to Victoria in 1842. His son, Edward Micklethwaite, was a student in France in 1838 and published works on the languages of Australian Aborigines. His son was Edward Micklethwaite Vaughan Curr, born c.1855.
